Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From the farmlands of the Fraser Valley to the steep canyons and desert landscape of British Columbia's interior, the landscape transformation is spectacular. Highlights include Hell's Gate, the historic Cisco Crossing railroad bridges, and stunning and vast Kamloops Lake. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the Canadian Rockies. Travel across ranchlands, along lakeshores, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of Canada. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, Stoney Creek Bridge, the iconic Spiral Tunnels, and stunning Canadian Rockies. Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard.
