JTC Vancouver to Kamloops

Travel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From the farmlands of the Fraser Valley to the steep canyons and desert landscape of British Columbia's interior, the landscape transformation is spectacular. Highlights include Hell's Gate, the historic Cisco Crossing railroad bridges, and stunning and vast Kamloops Lake. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room. Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard. Upon arrival at the Kamloops train siding, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation. Please be advised that station transfers will take between 30 - 45 minutes after arrival.

Enjoy your evening at your leisure. Details of your accommodation in Kamloops or the surrounding area, including Sun Peaks Resort, will be provided at the time of check-in. You will stay in moderate three-star accommodation with essential amenities and great service. While these accommodations are clean and comfortable, they may not be as luxurious as those in other destinations on your journey.

JTC Kamloops to Jasper

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the Canadian Rockies. Travel alongside the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Caribou Mountains, climbing over the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the crystal-clear Moose Lake.Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard. Estimated departure time: 8:15 AM PTEstimated arrival time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM MT Please be aware that rail travel can be subject to unforeseen delays.
