Banff Gondola - Route 5

The Banff Gondola is a spectacular eight-minute gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views of the Banff townsite and its surrounding mountains.

Alpine Lunch

Lunch is included today at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.

Coach Transfer Kamloops Hotel to Kamloops Station

Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the train from your hotel.

JTC Kamloops to Jasper

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the Canadian Rockies. Travel alongside the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Caribou Mountains, climbing over the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Pyramid Falls, and the crystal-clear Moose Lake.Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and snacks are included onboard. Estimated departure time: 8:15 AM PTEstimated arrival time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM MT Please be aware that rail travel can be subject to unforeseen delays. The Chateau Jasper is the perfect place to relax and recharge while exploring the wonders of Jasper National Park.Enjoy your mountain stay in these spacious, cozy and comfortable guestrooms. All guests have access to the hotel's indoor pool and hot tub. Your room will have one king bed, or two double beds. Please note: Not all hotels throughout the Canadian Rockies, in Banff, Jasper, and Lake Louise have air conditioning in their guestrooms. If air conditioning is not available, the guestroom will have windows that open, and/or a ceiling fan, or electric fan to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Kamloops Accommodation

Enjoy your evening at your leisure. Details of your accommodation in Kamloops or the surrounding area, including Sun Peaks Resort, will be provided at the time of check-in. You will stay in moderate three-star accommodation with essential amenities and great service. While these accommodations are clean and comfortable, they may not be as luxurious as those in other destinations on your journey.

Upon arrival at the Kamloops train siding, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation. Please be advised that station transfers will take between 30 - 45 minutes after arrival.

Upon arrival at the Rocky Mountaineer Jasper Train Station, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the drop-off location selected at the time of booking.

Soar up Whistlers Mountain and take in Jasper National Park from new heights.The Jasper SkyTram transports you to an elevation of 2,263 metres (7,425 feet) in a matter of minutes. Once there, you're free to explore boardwalks, hike to the summit, soak in stunning panoramic views and experience the mountaintop your way.

Sightseeing Transfer Jasper to Banff (Route 2)

Travel from Jasper to Banff on today's sightseeing tour along the scenic Icefields Parkway. Highlights include Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Glacier Skywalk, and Athabasca Falls. Take a ride on an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier and learn about its geology. Enjoy lunch at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre before a brief stop at Bow Lake. Arrive in Banff in the late afternoon.
