Machu Picchu + Reserva Amazonica Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive Lima

  • Arrive in Peru’s capital and transfer to a 5‑star hotel in Miraflores, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
  • Evening at leisure to relax after arrival.

Day 2 – Discover Lima (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

  • Guided walk through Barranco, Lima’s artistic and bohemian district.
  • Visit the Larco Museum, home to one of the world’s finest collections of pre‑Columbian art.
  • Lunch at Café del Museo.
  • Explore Lima’s historic center, including Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral, and Santo Domingo Monastery.
  • Rooftop dinner overlooking the Pacific.

Day 3 – Fly to the Amazon | Reserva Amazonica

  • Morning flight to Puerto Maldonado, gateway to the Amazon Basin.
  • Scenic 45‑minute boat ride along the Madre de Dios River to Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.
  • Introductory nature walk with resident naturalists.

Days 4 & 5 – Amazon Rainforest Exploration

  • Two full days at Reserva Amazonica, a private ecological reserve.
  • Choose from a variety of guided excursions, such as:
